Second-time Star Alex Browning is an award-winning director and performer who is just as comfortable shining the spotlight on others as he is standing in it himself.

With a deep enthusiasm for all things creative, Alex has been recognised as one of Courvoisier�s The Future 500 Top Business and Creative Brains in the UK and is a 2010 Black Youth Achievement Arts Award recipient. Alex is also an O2 Media Award nominee.

�I want to represent possibility and inspire other black students by showing them the opportunities that are open to us within arts and media that so few of us seem to take.�

His music video �When I Am Small (remix)� for American rapper �OYE! was selected for the BBC Big Screen Manchester, which showcases the best emerging talent in the local area. The video has also been nominated for Best Music Video at Screentest, the National Student Film Festival 2012, as well as the official selection in the Best Music Video category at the International Student Film Festival London.

Alex is a sponsored Officer Cadet with the Territorial Army and a qualified Taekwondo instructor who, in 2007, received gold and silver medals for black belt sparring in the National Taekwondo Championships.

In 2011, he danced in the opening ceremony of the UEFA Champions League Final 2011, which was watched by over 160 million people on television.
