Due to an upswing in its business, L’Oréal needs additional people to join its prestigious sales graduate programme in January 2010. The L’Oréal graduate programmes are hugely competitive and ‘off-cycle’ opportunities of this type almost never come about.
Recent graduates on this scheme have been given a broad range of responsibilities, including:
- Heading up a £4 million account for L’Oréal Professionnel, the firm’s biggest salon brand
- Analysing market data to identify a sales opportunity for Maybelline, putting together a plan of action to address this, and presenting the strategy to senior management
- Working on a charitable ‘Take Care’ day for Garnier clearing forest trails in Richmond Park
- Designing the contents of a gift box that was used by L’Oréal’s field force teams to promote the L’Oréal Paris Men Expert brand through some of the firm’s major Redken salons
- Taking ownership of a key project to grow Garnier’s market share in over 20 top supermarkets
L’Oréal is looking for people who:
- Have at least a 2:1
- Have got some sales experience and enjoy selling
- Are articulate, commercial, and resilient
- Ideally speak an additional language
- Are British or EU citizens
