Rare’s Biggest Milkround Comes to an End

This year, for the first time, Rare employed a full time Marketing Executive to manage and execute Milkround visits. Yewande Sokan had the challenging task of completing 20 visits, spanning 18 locations, throughout the months of October to early December. From York to Brighton and from Bristol to Cambridge, Yewande travelled to meet students and inform them about what Rare has to offer.

When asked about her experience, Yewande had this to say:

“The Milkround was an intense period. So many trains, platforms and coffee shops; however, it was definitely worth it. Meeting talented ethnic minority students and promoting an excellent service kept me going back again and again. The best part is when they sign up to Rare. Since the start of the Milkround we have received approximately 300 new applications. I feel like I helped make that happen.”

Without great candidates for our clients, Rare would not exist.
