Rare is delighted to announce that Amina Duke-Azore has joined the team as Director, Experienced Hires. Amina graduated from Warwick University where she studied English and Italian Literature. She joins Rare from a sales background. Previously a Rare candidate, Amina was placed by Rare at The Guardian. She was promoted twice in fifteen months, earning the title of Agency Sales Executive. However the lure of joining a start-up proved irresistible - Amina likes the fact that “Rare is a small company that’s constantly growing” and wanted to be a part of that.
As a former Rare candidate, Amina is familiar with Rare’s service from a user perspective, and brings a fresh approach to the team. “Rare candidates are given the optimum service, to ensure they get the best jobs available, and I’m excited to be involved in that process”.
Amina’s role includes maintaining client relationships, receiving briefs and finding the best candidates for the job through personal recommendations and by head hunting. She also prepares candidates with mock interviews and tests.
Amina is thrilled to have “so much responsibility at such a young age”. She “loves the hectic working environment” and her fun and energetic presence means “there’s never a dull moment”. It’s also been a satisfying and rewarding experience for her, as working for a small company means that her decisions play an important part and really count.
